What is an Energy Performance Certificate?
An EPC is a statutory document that assesses a property’s energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
It assigns a rating — from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) — and includes recommendations to improve the property’s energy performance.
In Spain, an EPC is required by law to sell or let any property, and it must be officially registered with the corresponding regional authority.
